A common grid.
A wider conversation.

DGGSCon is a conference dedicated to the research, development and real-world applications of Discrete Global Grid Systems.

DGGS organize the Earth into systems of cells, creating a foundation for connecting and analysing geospatial information. The questions span mathematics, software, standards and the decisions we make with data.

We’re bringing those conversations together: from the people designing grids to the people putting them to work.

Hosted by

01

Grid foundations

Tessellations, reference systems, indexing and multi-resolution representations.

02

Tools & standards

Implementations, interoperability and the systems that turn ideas into usable tools.

03

Data & analysis
